Many of the products I work on are hard to see: software, infrastructure, the science inside a fabric. So the work starts with finding something people can see. For Broadcom's mainframe it was a cup of black coffee; for Reebok, a single pentagon-shaped fibre. The complexity is usually where the idea is hiding.
