HBO wanted a seamlessly integrated and consistent on-air look. It had to unify the HBO Europe brand across 15 different countries and in 10 different languages. The creative focus of the new HBO International on-air identity was on elegant simplicity. The goal: to let content come forward unhindered by heavy graphic design. The result was incredibly minimal and restrained, yet at the same time, supremely premium.
